In the midst of preparing for a very full weekend of Abigail's baptism, the primary presentation and family coming into town i decided to go for a quick walk to get fresh air.  I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and weighed down feeling like i didn't have enough time to get everything done.  I remembered this quote from conference to "Look up!" So i paused and laid on the grass and literally looked up and tried to look up in my heart as well, turning my heart to God and praying that I could be still and know that He is God! The scripture has been on my mind this weekend..."...Let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed." -D&C 123:17

Andersen At church on Sunday Abigail received her emblem of  belonging ring.  It was a little loose, so we had to tighten it a bit.  That evening i noticed it wasn't on her finger anymore so i asked if it fell off.  She said, "Oh, i put it with my Jesus things"  So then she showed me where she keeps her "Jesus things" on her dresser.  So endearing!!
